RAVINDRA KADAM IPS
Pune 29 April 2017 (PCP NEWS) : Today Ravindra Kadam hold the charge of Joint Commissioner of Police, Pune, he replaced Sunil Ramanand IPS.
While speaking with PCP News Correspondent Kadam said that, he will continue the same work as previously it was going, and will focus on to curb the crime and criminals. I will try my level-best to maintain peace in city and give a free and fair atmosphere to the citizens of Pune, as i know that the citizens here are peace loving and i will always try to fulfill their requirements related to maintain Law and Order, said the new Joint Police Commissioner.
Kadam who is Msc, joined the force on 1 Feb 1983, and was promoted to Indian Police Service in 1995, he has worked on various positions at various jurisdictions of the state, his remarkable work in Naxal affected ares of Gadchiroli is still remembered. He had worked to put Naxals on the back foot in Gadchiroli, about 40 of them were eliminated in less than two years.
