Pune 22 July 2017 (PCP NEWS) : Now the citizens of Maharashtra should use Online services to register their complaints related to any Crime, Robbery, Tenant and Paying Guest, Mobile Lost, Missing, any permission for Event or protest, to Police on “CITIZENS PORTAL” said the CID, Additional Director General of Police Sanjay Kumar here this evening.
ADG Sanjay Kumar who has taken major initiative for this portal, while speaking with PCP News Correspondent further said that, on experimental basis this Portal was launched on 23 july 2016, by the hands of Chief minister of Maharashtra Devendra Phadanvis, in Pune, as the CID is having their Headquarter in here, the same day i had given “Word” to CM Sir that within a year this ” Citizens Portal” will be launched finally for the citizens. After the Inaugural we started to work out daily for the complaints and suggestions received on this platform. As per my commitment me and my other officers ADG Sanjivkumar Singhal and Spl I G Sunil Ramanand were busy in finding the major problems faced by the citizens, after this we started to rectify these problems, in which we are now satisfied and a full proof “Online Service” is tabled for the benefits of citizens, though if there are any problems I appeal to the citizens to post their comments on the portal itself which will help us to the needful, said the ADG.
The ADG, while elaborating this Portal said that, with the help of this Portal, Maharashtra police is offering various services to the citizens. Now any citizen in the state can file their complaints Online on this Citizen Portal, this portal is well equipped with the necessary information required by the complainant. The complainant can view his First Information Report (FIR) status, he can know that how many accuse are arrested, he can also view and search for missing person or any unidentified dead body. This portal will also display Images of Absconders photo along with the necessary details. This Portal will also give the details of various units of Maharashtra Police, where he Down Load what he requires. Besides this he can know the crime statistics of the State, also he can get the lost mobiles details of his cell phone if it is recovered or seized by police, which is the major problem faced by the citizens.
ADG Sanjiv Kumar Singhal also mentioned that, Now the political parties and the NGO’s need not worry for their permissions, Many Online services are provided for the applicants, Political parties or NGO’s can apply Online for necessary permissions. Citizens can file E Complaint and search for the status of his complaint, he can also get the submission Tip, besides this submission feed back is a major part where he can be satisfied for his application, now citizens can register online about their tenant or Paying Guest, citizens can request for character verification, also he can send request for Employee verification, and can get or call for Domestic Help.
Special I G Suni Ramanand also added that, Now the Political Parties or the NGO who require various permission for Protest or Public Functions can get permissions after filling Online on this Portal, besides this, we have thought for Event and Entertainment performers, now this portal will be helpful for Event Performance programmers, who can, also get permissions “ONLine” only.
The CID after facing lack of manpower problems had proved their capabilities, due to having more “Women’s Staff” in this department the work here is always delayed, though this office is Investigating many important cases given to them from the government, the Home Department of the state should help this office on priority, since Maharashtra Government is giving priority for “E Governance” in which the major part is always related with the police authorities, the government thinks that by using this “Citizen Portal” they can prevent harassment and a corruption free environment to the citizens.
