CRIME BRANCH UNIT 2 SUCCEED TO NAB 9 NOTORIOUS CRIMINALS WITH 5 PISTOLS AND 1 REVOLVER, WERE TO MURDER PUNE ZP PANCHAYAT VICE PRESIDENT

Pune 09 Aug 2017 (PCP NEWS) : In a sensational detection the Pune Crime Branch Unit 2 Senior Police Inspector Satish Nikam and his team succeeded to nab nine notorious criminals who were to commit Dacoity on Laxmi Petrol Pump and then murder Pune Zilla Parishad Panchayat Vice President of Pune District, said DCP Sudhir Hiremath to PCP News Correspondent.

DCP Hiremath, also added that, the Unit 2 received an information about a dacoity plan to be committed in the jurisdiction of Hizewadi Mann road at Laxmi Petrol Pump, so many teams were on alert and before committing the offence, Unit 2 police succeeded to nab all 9 accuse, along with the mastermind and a associate of Gangster Sharad Mohol. Accused were identified as Umesh Raghunath Waghulkar of 38, from Man, Tal Mulshi, Yogesh Bhau Gurav of 32 from Karvenagar, Yogesh Ankush Vetal of 23 and Vishal Navnath Vetal of 23, Vishal Ananda Kalaskar of 19, all from Malthan, Tal Shirur, Chandrakant Dorsing Thapa of 35 from Kasarwadi, Firoz Ayub Khan of 49 from Chinchwad, Anwar Hassan Khan of 40 from Bhondve Wasti and Akash Prakash Renuse of 22 from Pabe Tal Veha. Police had seized around 5 Pstols, 1 Revolver, 28 fire rounds, 4 sharp weapons, Maruti Swift MH 14 BX 3421, Maruti Ritz MH 12 NB 1792, Two, Bajaj Pulser MH 14 AP 1418 and MH 14, total property worth twelve lakh twenty six thousand rupees, said Hiremath.

ACP Suresh Bhonsale mentioned that, during the Interrogation the mastermind Umesh Raghunath Waghulkar confessed that, he is having political differences and rivalry with ZP Panchayat Vice President Pandurang Wajharkar, and after murder he was to pay two lakhs each from the amount which they were to receive after the petrol pump dacoity. Accuse Yogesh Bhau Gurav is the close aide of Gangster Sharad Mohal, who he is under punishment for the murder of Gangster Kishor Marne and was on Parole for 30 days from 5 May 2017, but after completing 30 days parole he never returned to Jail. In further investigation we will find out the other motives and the other robberies committed by any of these accuse, said Bhonsale. PCP/DJ 14 30
